Andrea Riccadonna, born in Turin on 1st May 1975. A student of Gabriele Maschietti and Cinzia Ghigliano, he initially made a name for himself as an illustrator for scientific publications and school books. Since 2005 he has collaborated with national and international publishers, producing a range of graphic novels (‘David’ and ‘Shutter Island’ for Edizioni BD, ‘I vespri siciliani’ and ‘Rigoletto’ for the Fondazione Teatro Comunale Luciano Pavarotti in Modena). In 2010 he managed the character design as well as numerous episodes for ‘Mytico!’ the weeking cartoon-strip supplement of the newspaper Il Corriere della Sera, and since 2012 he has also collaborated with the publisher Sergio Bonelli Editore.
